The City Council of Alzira, through its Local Development Agency IDEA, has positively contributed to the increasing problem of unemployment. To overcome this situation, it has organized different courses and workshops for people looking to get in the labour market. One of these programs is «Viaje a la Empleabilidad», program which started in 2019 and will finalise in 2021.
The objective of the program is to train and introduce into the labour market 150 socially vulnerable people who are searching for work. The fields for which people received training are diverse. Some of them are hospitality, mechanical manufacturing, care for dependent individuals, catering and trade and logistics.
